#BringBackOurLeah! Onyeka Onwenu tearfully begs Buhari to rescue Leah Sharibu [Video]
Veteran Nigerian singer, Onyeka Onwenu, has appealed to President Buhari to do more to ensure the rescue of Leah Sharibu and all other children held by Boko Haram.
The actress in a video which has gone viral on the internet wept profusely and advised Buhari to be inspired by the rescue of the Thai football soccer team that was trapped in the Tham Luang cave complex in northern Thailand.
Onwenu also pleaded with the terrorist group to please release every captive and let Nigeria be at peace.
In the video, Onwenu lamented the unimaginable horrors Leah Sharibu would have been subjected to and called on all and sundry to join hands and have the girl released.
The 66-year-old also pleaded with the president to stop the incessant killings in Nigerian stressing that it is enough.
Leah Sharibu is the Christian Dapchi school girl still in Boko Haram captivity. She was withheld after she refused to denounce her Christian faith.
