Buhari joins worshippers for juma’at prayer in Saudi [Video & Photos]
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, joined worshippers from across the world to observe Juma’at prayer in Saudi Arabia.
WuzupNaija reports that Buhari departed Abuja on Thursday for the Holy Land to perform Umrah also known as lesser Hajj.
According to a statement by the Presidency, the President’s trip to the Holy Land followed the invitation by King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, the King of Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the two Holy Mosques.
Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, took to Twitter to share a video of Buhari as he observed Juma’at prayer at the Masjid Al-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet Muhammad’s SAW) Mosque, in Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Bashir had earlier tweeted photos of the President’s visit to the Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) tomb.
