JUST IN: Buhari, Masari meet in Abuja
President Muhammadu Buhari has just held a closed-door meeting with the governor of his home state, Katsina, Hon. Aminu Masari, in the State House.
Masari’s visit to the State House came a few hours after news broke that President Buhari was tested for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Monday.
Unconfirmed reports had it that the President tested negative to the virus, while his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, was said to have tested positive to it.
The Katsina State governor, after meeting with the President, did not speak to State House Correspondents.
Meanwhile, President Buhari entered into another meeting with some of the nation’s security handlers almost immediately after Masari left.
The National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.); Director-General, Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Bichi; and the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, were seen entering the President’s office.
