The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has approved the redeployment of three permanent secretaries.

The Director of Communications, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Olawunmi Ogunmosunle, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

She said that the persons affected were from the State House, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

From the State House, Jalal Arabi was moved to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development while Tijani Umar was deloyed from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development to the State House. Also affected is Sabi’u Zakari, who was redeployed to the Ministry of Defence from the Ministry of Transport.

 “The circular conveying the redeployment was signed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr FolasadeYemi- Esan. The circular stated that the deployment takes immediate effect and the handing/taking-over processes should be completed on or before 5th April 2020,” the statement said.

“The most senior Director in the Ministry of Transportation will oversee the affairs of the office of the Permanent Secretary pending the appointment /posting of a substantive one.”
