Buhari signs June 12 bill into law
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday assented to the Public Holiday Amendment bill into law.
The Senior Special Assistant on National Assembly matters (Senate), Senator Ita Enang, briefed State House correspondents after signing ceremony.
The new law, according to him, allows a public holiday to be declared on June 12 every year while May 29th will no longer be a public holiday.
May 29th will only be handing over the date and working day.
