Burna Boy apologises to fan who said she was embarrassed after singer turned down her selfie request
Nigerian singer Burna Boy has apologised to a Tanzanian fan who claimed she felt embarrassed when the singer turned down her request for a selfie at a concert in Portugal.
The fan @Kulthummmm had taken to Twitter to post her experience on Tuesday and it caught the attention of Burna.
She was reacting to a post by another Twitter user @Yusufyuie who asked his followers to share their most awkward or interesting moment with a celebrity.
@Yusufyuie tweeted:
“What’s ya most awkward or interesting celebrity interaction you have had? Lol I have so many”
@Kulthummmm quoted the tweet and shared her experience after her encounter with Burna Boy and Teni at Afronation in Portugal.
She tweeted:
“At Afronation Portugal, I went up to Burna Boy to ask for a photo ( whilst he was talking to Teni) and he turned to me and said “Can you not see I’m talking ooo,” I apologised.”
“I got a picture with Teni tho. My head was hot,” she added.
Shortly after, Burna Boy took to the comment section of the viral tweet and apologised with a promise to do better next time.
