Carabao Cup draw: Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, others know third round opponents [See full fixtures]

The Carabao Cup third-round draw took place on Wednesday night with Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all knowing their opponents.

Holders Manchester City will travel to Preston while Manchester United host League One side Rochdale.

Liverpool were drawn away against MK Dons and Southampton will visit south coast rivals Portsmouth.

Last year’s finalists Chelsea will play Grimsby or Macclesfield while Arsenal host Nottingham Forest and Tottenham play League Two’s Colchester United

The ties will be played the week beginning 23 September.
