American superstar, Cardi B who shared a short video via her Instastory upon arriving in Nigeria yesterday December 5, shared her first impression about the West African country.

According to the American rapper, Nigeria looks like the Dominican Republic.

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper was heard saying;

“Mehn we are in motherf*cking Nigeria yeah, no lies this shit looks like the Dominican Republic, this shit looks like DR straight up”.

WuzupNigeria reports that the Dominican Republic is a Caribbean nation that shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti to the west. It’s known for its beaches, resorts and golfing.

The Dominican Republic had a GDP per capita of US$7,880.55 in 2018, ranking as North America’s fourth-poorest country. With an area of approximately 18,792 sq mi, the Dominican Republic is the Caribbean’s second-largest nation, after Cuba.

However, despite being one of the poorest countries in North America, it is among the richest in the Caribbean.

It also has one of the fastest-growing economies in the Americas and has the second-largest gold mine in the world.
