Cardi B tells fan to convince Offset to move to Nigeria
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, has called on fans to convince her husband, Offset, to move to Nigeria with her.
Following the killing of Iranian military general, Qassem Soleimani, by US forces, the rapper criticised US President Donald Trump for the decision, adding that she would be filing for citizenship in Nigeria.
The rapper in a tweet on Monday morning appealed to fans to convince Offset to move with her.
“Convince him to move with me,” she said with a picture of Offset.
Major General Soleimani was the head of Quds Force, a covert wing of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. His brutal exploits had been widely acknowledged by military analysts and governments across the world.
Iran has threatened to retaliate over the killing which was launched last Thursday near the Baghdad International Airport in Iraq.
Iraqi lawmakers have voted for US troops to leave the country but Mr Trump says the country would have to pay in billions before such move would be granted.
