CAUGHT RED HANDED! Armed robbers storm Anambra shrine to steal gods [Photos]
Two suspected armed robbers were on Wednesday reportedly caught while stealing from a shrine in Anambra state.
WuzupNaija learnt that the thieves had been terrorising residents of Igboukwu town. They were caught at Etitnabo Ezihu village in Igboukwu area of the state while trying to steal moulded craft representations of gods at a shrine.
The armed robbers,, in an attempt to escape after being spotted, shot sporadically at people but no one was hurt or caught by the stray bullets.

They were both apprehended, beaten and stripped naked by the villagers.
The villagers afterwards handed them over to the police for prosecution.
