A video has emerged on the internet showing a suspected killer leaving a hotel in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Tuesday morning after killing his victim in the room.

It was gathered that the suspect and the lady had checked into the hotel located along Stadium road, Rumuomasi, Port Harcourt on Monday night, but the remains of the strangled lady was discovered in the room the next morning after the man had left.

The latest killing is coming barely three days after a girl was also strangled to death inside a hotel room in the State which has sparked outrage from residents and social media users calling on security operatives to protect women in the state and apprehend the serial killer who is believed to be on the prowl.

In the viral video, the lady was seen lying naked on the bed with a white cloth tied around her neck, hands and legs, the same manner other girls have been killed in the city in the last two months.

While the killer of other girls have escaped without traces, the man suspected to be the latest killer was captured by the hotel’s CCTV.

In the video which is reportedly being analyzed by the police, the duo checked in around 11:30pm on Monday, but the suspect left alone the next morning without any confrontation from the hotel staff who saw him walking out of the hotel alone.
