Champions League: Gnabry nets brace as Chelsea slump at home to Bayern
Chelsea slumped to a 3-0 defeat at home to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Frank Lampard’s side were outclassed by the Bundesliga leaders, who netted three goals in the second half to effectively kill the tie.
The Blues now have a mountain to climb in order to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
Former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry, who can’t stop scoring whenever he returns to London netted twice while Robert Lewandowski sealed it with a third goal.
The 24-year-old struck four second-half goals against Tottenham back in October.
Bayern recorded a 7-2 victory over Spurs and Gnabry, who struck in the 53rd, 55th, 83rd and 88th minutes, was the star of the show.
