In many churches in Nigeria, first Sunday of a new month is called thanksgiving day. It is a special Sunday marked out in Churches calendar to thank God for all He has done in the past and what he would do in the future.

On these special thanksgiving days, Christians, be it those that attend Pentecostal or Orthodox churches, troop to their churches to worship their God. Most times, they do so by wearing their best costumes.

This does not exclude Nigerian celebrities. Most Sundays, Nollywood stars, popular artistes, musicians and others take to social media to share photos of what they wear to their places of worship. And most cases, these celebrities also use the opportunity to share biblical messages with their fans.
