CONFESSION? Only those who can endure the pain of rigging should participate in election, Oshiomhole says [Video]
In a bizarre interview on ChannelsTv, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, may have admitted that the party rigged the Osun State governorship election.
In the video, seen by WuzupNaija, Oshiomhole was discussing allegations in certain quarters that the process that saw Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola emerged the governor-elect of the state was rigged.

While denying the allegations the former governor of Edo State had said,
“I think that for democracy to flourish, only people who can accept the pain of rigging (sorry defeat) should participate in an election.”
Wuzup recalls that the Osun gubernatorial election which held last Saturday was declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission. The election umpire fixed a rerun poll for Thursday in seven polling units. The rerun was, however, marked by irregularities with many election observers getting turned back from the polling units by thugs and security agents.
The police also briefly arrested a Premium Times reporter for taking pictures.
