Heavily endowed Nollywood actress, Cossy Orjiakor, seems to have found the right time to call out those allegedly behind the ‘sex with dog’ scandal which threatened her acting career in 2009.

Recall that Cossy was at the center of controversial in 2009 after photos emerged on the internet indicating that she slept with a dog. The photos were later discovered to be from a scene in the movie ‘Itohan’ to depict what some Nigerian sex workers do in Italy.

She said her colleague, Halima Abubakar, who she described as a jealous snake instigated the rumour against her because she was jealous of her rising fame in the Nigerian movie industry.

The scandal rocked Cossy’s career in 2009 as she was blacklisted by many movie producers and denied movie roles.

Not that she seems to have found her voice 10 years after the scandal, Cossy started with a controversial comment on an Instagram post by actress Uche Ogbodo on Thursday where she called out Halima Abubakar and tagged her a snake.

Actress Uche Ogbodo had posted a photo of herself with Halima, Uche Elendu on on her IG page, calling them her friends.

Responding to the IG post, Cossy said that Uche Elendu was a great person but that she could see a “snake” in the picture, with Halima Abubakar the only person left in the picture.

Cossy further posted the photo on her page and wrote:

“I just saw this pic on @ucheogbodo page… then her caption got to me…. confuses ….pls let’s save uche from intending calamity…. cause I only see 2girls and a snake… who can identify the  pix taken by @realangelaokorie (respect) featuring @ucheelendu (respect) @ucheogbodo (sister) @halimabubakar ()@stelladimokokorkus @tontolet can u identify the snake?… wondering if I should start. Story line…. surviving the rat  that bites and blows air.”

In the post, she had threatened to expose why she called out Halima, and four hours after, she took to her IG again to post a lengthy piece explaining the motive behind her attack on Halima.

In the lengthy piece titled ‘Tales of a Snake Girl’ Cossy alleged that it was Halima Abubakar who gave her journalist boyfriend the picture that fuelled the scandal.

She claimed the scandal left her in limbo for eight years and almost destroyed her.

She wrote,

“This is a picture of Cossy Ojiakor the sweet girl that was loved by all, the soft-spoken Ajebo girl came to Lagos in 2001 and got lucky.

“I remembered the day the snake girl came to my house, I do see her around but was shocked how she got my address. I asked who gave her my address well it was a mutual friend, she brought food on that first visit and so we became friends.

“I was and am still super hot, the men wanted me so much even her supposedly sugar daddies. I was naive and believe in meeting a guy getting to know each other then start dating, oh back then I was in love with this movie producer that didn’t even notice I exist…. when all the big monies were dying for me,

“I was loving love, but snake girl didn’t know that about me and all hell broke loose, she gave out a picture I took onset of Itohan to her journalist boyfriend whose wife was living in Dublin he was fucking her…. and her sugar daddy who was just a fan use to have office in Ilupeju.

“They destroyed me, I was in limbo for 8good yrs, the stories then, there goes that girl that slept with a dog. It was the mastermind of snake girl. So how can I keep quiet and let another girl I like go through maybe similar pain.

“Then the people that were supposed to save me then the director, producer denied me, Nollywood moved to barn me based on the false story started by snake girl, churches preached about it. Only Shan George accepted ever acting that movie and seeing that dog scene. She is a wonderful soul I will always adore her.

“Well my heart was shattered, it took me a while to use superglue patch what was left, I still believe in people, but sometimes the people that hurt you the most are people you have helped in the past. I have a lovely soul, I am a very plain person.

“I don’t go looking for trouble but this new street smart Cossy don’t run away from trouble. We face it squarely…. ungrateful Delilah dey learn work were this Rat snake dey. #dropsmic”
