A 28-year-old man and a 48-year-old married woman were arrested after they were caught having oral sex on a flight in the United States.

The two who are said to be married to different partners met on the Delta Flight from Los Angeles to Detroit on Sunday and got on so well that she ended up engaging in the sexual act together Metro.co.uk reported.

The two were both due to get connecting flights at Detroit to separate destinations but were instead taken into custody.

The unnamed woman was heading to Nashville while the man was heading towards Miami. The alleged sexual act happened in their seats rather than the plane’s toilet.

The unnamed pair were initially dealt with by police at Detroit Airport but now face charges from the FBI because the alleged crime happened in the air so it’s a federal rather than a state matter.

It is not known if they missed their second flights or if they had been drinking during the first leg of their trip.
