COVID-19 lockdown: Quit launching giveaways online, help the less-privileged offline instead, Patoranking tells celebrities
Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known as Patoranking has taken a swipe at his colleagues who in the last few days have launched giveaway campaigns online due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown.
In a tweet he shared, Patoranking stated that Nigerian artistes should be contributing money to help those offline as they are the most disadvantaged people at this time.
He tweeted;
Instead Make we artist come together and contribute money to support people Those once wey no Dey online Oo, Wey understand wetin giveaway mean ( people for slums and ghetto) wey Dey disadvantaged due to this Covid-19 Lockdown, una Dey here Dey talk about this Vs This, Wise up.
