COZA: Issues like this will not stop reoccurring, Twitter user

Published

Music artiste, Timi Dakolo, few days ago posted some cryptic messages on his Instagram page which many ascribed to be directed at the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Dakolo said the man of God is leaving a trail of broken, sexually abused and mentally strangled women.

In response to the singer’s claim, a Twitter user, @PSYMORN, is of the opinion that pastors will continue to find victims such as is the case with COZA as long as people don’t stop worshipping their pastors.

His post reads,

”Issues like this #COZA escapades will not stop reoccurring if people(Christians especially) know that they are worshipping God and not their Pastors. In Africa, we tend to worship our Pastors and not God Himself, and that’s why these issues keep reoccurring.”

@PSYMORN also touched on the subject of the financial status of church members as against that of their pastors when he said

”The worshippers keep growing poorer, living in abject poverty while the so-called man-of-God keeps waxing stronger. That’s stupid. That’s why I still like the Catholic Church or Anglican church to all these new generational scam Churches.
