Cristiano Ronaldo is a ‘special killer’, says Mourinho

Published

Former Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has hailed Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, tagging him a “special killer”.

Mourinho was reacting to Ronaldo’s scintillating display in Juventus’ 3-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16 second-leg encounter last week.

Ronaldo scored all three goals to ensure Juventus dumped Atletico Madrid out of the Champions League.

He said,

“Let me tell you that I’m not unhappy at all because, in the end, I’m the only one who won in Turin for the whole season,” Mourinho told RT.

“When you have in the box or around the box that special killer like Ronaldo, anything could happen.

“In Italy, they use this word trascinatore, it’s the guy that brings everything with him more than the leader, the guy who brings everybody with him.”

Ronaldo has now scored 124 goals in 160 UCL matches in his career so far, leading the way as the top scorer in the competition’s history.
