Ogbomoso based Crown FC says it will engage in a tour of friendly games to keep the team fit ahead of resumption of the second stanza of the second-tier league.

Spokesman for Ajilete Warriors, Tunji Alabi, in a statement on Wednesday, said that the friendly game would improve the quality of the team.

“Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso will continue to engage in quality friendly games that will keep the team in shape ahead of the league continuation or Super 8 tourney as it is being speculated.

“The Ajilete Warriors will tomorrow Thursday, March 19, jet out to Ijebu Ode in Ogun State to play some ‘Grade A’ friendly games.

“The team will lock horns with FC Ebiede on Thursday, March 19, by 4 pm at the Main Bowl of the Otunba Dapo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

“The Kunle Oyeleye administered side will then on Friday, March 20, trade tackle with Ijebu United Football Club by 8 a.m. at the same venue.

“The team will return home to continue intense preparations and engage in some quality friendly games scheduled to hold next week,” he said.
