Nigerian music star Davido has shamed a social media troll who says he is not a talented musician.

The troll, a music video director identified by his Instagram handle as @valentinefilmz, had posted a comment on the singer’s IG post claiming he only buys his way with money.

His comment was prompted by a reply by singer CDQ Olowo on Davido’s IG post.

CDQ wrote on Davido’s post,

“talents don’t lie”

In his response to the comment, the troll wrote:

“him no get talent, talk true abeg na money”

After seeing the comment, the DMW boss initiated a direct message (DM) chat with the troll, only to discover that the music director had sent him a DM sometime ago pleading for an opportunity to work with him.

After chatting with the troll who later apologised for his comment, Davido shared their conversation on his IG story to expose the music director as one of those who begs for support in his DM.

Davido however promised to help the troll despite the insult.
