Nigerian singer Davido is set to star in another Nollywood movie – ‘Fate of Alakada: The Party Planner’ by Toyin Abraham.

An excited Toyin broke the news on her Instagram page while sharing some behind the scenes photo with the multi-award-winning singer.

Davido is joining the star-studded movie which already parades several A-list stars from the Nigerian showbiz industry.

Already on the cast of the movie are actors from the English and Yoruba film genre as well as comic comedians and musical artistes.

Some artistes featured in the Alakada series included Ali Baba, Odunlade Adekola, Kehinde Bankole, Woli Arole, Iyabo Ojo, Nedu OAP, Helen Paul and Broda Shaggi.

Others are Lilian Esoro, Annie Idibia, Bidemi Kosoko, Liz Da Silva, Lala Akindoju, Toyin Abraham and Gabriel Afolayan, among others.

Toyin announced a few days ago that BBNaija 2019 winner Mercy Eke will also be joining the cast of the new movie which will hit the cinemas in April 2020

Announcing Davido as one of the casts, Toyin in a post via her IG page declared that she’s now officially part of Davido’s 30 Billion Gang as they’re now working together.

The excited new mother wrote:

“I am now officially #30BG Watchout for @davidoofficial in fate of Alakada ’

Davido starred in ‘Fate Of Alakada’ along with Mercy Eke of BBNaija Pepper Dem Edition fame and other familiar Nollywood stars.”

She shared another post appreciating Davido for starring in the movie:

“Baba ifeanyi you will not fail or fall??? @davidoofficial thank you. I appreciate this a whole lot Pls fam kindly say thank you to @davidoofficial.”
