Davido, Tonto Dikeh remember their late mothers
Nigerian Afro-pop star, Davido, penned a touching tribute in memory of his late mother, Veronica Imade Adeleke on Tuesday.
The award-winning singer posted a photo of his mother on his Instagram page with the caption;
“LOVE U MOMMY!! !!! I KNOW ITS YOU THAT IS PROTECTING ME!!!!! I KNOW!!!! I LOVE U!! UR SON GALLANT DIE!!!!!!!! RIP!!!”
Veronica Adeleke passed away on March 6th, 2003. She was 39 years old.
According to some online reports, Veronica Adeleke loved music, just like her son. In the 90s, she reportedly had a brilliant music career and was the owner of a record label. She was also part of a band named ‘David’s Band.’ Veronica Adeleke was a lecturer at Babcock University in Osun State.

Also remembering her late mother controversial social media personality, Tonto Dikeh, said its been 30 years and one day she lost her mother.
