A man is currently battling for his life after a doctor mistakenly cut off his intestine during a surgery.

The man, identified as Danlynton Remedy, had needed surgery after he was in an accident involving a motorcycle in Okigwe, Imo State.

However, during the surgery, the doctor had mistakenly taken a knife to his intestine. The injury to Remedy was so severe that he now passes faeces through his stomach.

The incident was posted on social media by one ‎Ifeanyi Onyenankeya‎. He said Remedy had been transferred to  FMC Umuahia.

He wrote,
