Nigerians parents never cease to amaze with their sense of humour, but as humourous as they may seem to be, they could also be very strict and firm when it comes to instilling societal values and morals in their children.

Sometimes in their attempt to scold a child, their words turn out hilarious and would just weaken the child who is being scolded, but such child dare not laugh, he or she must maintain the innocent or guilty look, at least for that moment.

A social media user took to micro-blogging site Twitter on Thursday to share his father’s reaction to his Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) score after two attempts and the reaction would no doubt bring out a smile from the face of anyone who hears.

The man identified as Tolulope wrote via his handle @toyoulope that after sitting for the exam twice and had the same score in the two attempts, his father’s reaction to the news of his UTME result was hilarious.

He wrote:

“I did jamb twice, on both occasions I had the same score 180.”

The father who was probably wowed by the consistency of his son’s UTME score in two years was quoted to have asked in awe:

“Tolu, Shey ti last year lo print ni? (Did you print last year’s result again?)”
