DON’T BE DECEIVED! Obviously, there is something else wealthy actors are doing, says Joke Silva
Veteran Nollywood actress, Ajoke Silva, has said that people should not be carried away by the flashy lifestyles of celebrities displayed on social media.
The 56-year-old actress said there is definitely something else that “flamboyant actors” do to boost their incomes.
Mrs. Silva said the earning capacity of an actor in Nigeria cannot afford them their extravagant lifestyle thanks to the present Nigerian economy.
The veteran actress made these assertions in a short Instagram post while showing off a stunning photo of herself.

Joke Silva wrote;
“Don’t be deceived by what goes on on social media. Obviously, there is something else such actors are doing, perhaps other businesses to shore up their income.
“The reality is that on the earning capacity of an actor in Nigeria, you cannot have that sort of lifestyle in this economy.
“Yes part of our industry is to have glamour but also the other part is to have reality.”
Recall that some few days ago, the Chief Superintendent of Police, Dolapo Badmus, had appealed to young ladies to keep themselves from falling victims of being a neglected and frustrated baby mama.
Badmus lamented the high rate of baby mama’s saying that some desperate ladies deliberately get pregnant for their boyfriends in the hopes of securing a place in his home and heart.
She also cautioned single ladies saying “how can you debase yourself just to get an unconventional title of BABY MAMA”?
Badmus further advised ladies not to be “baby mama’s” especially when they cannot afford their basic needs.
