Don’t forget that artistes sign contracts willingly and at times they bring their own downfall- Adewale Adeleke

Published

Chairman of HKN and Davido’s brother, Adewale Adeleke has also reacted to statements about record label and Nigerian artiste making rounds online.

This comes after Cynthia Morgan started to trend on social media following some contract issues with her label.

Adewale Adeleke via his Twitter handle said, “Fans be so quick to blame labels or managers for ruining artist careers but when the artist make it, its by their own doing…..doesn’t add up!!!!

Think about it when artist are successful nobody credits the label, or Managers for money or time spent pushing the artist it’s the artist, But let an artist be relevant & go down its the label. The label is greedy the label took all my royalties they left me for dead….

I’m not saying some labels can take artist for a ride and give out horrible contracts. Everyone should remember these artist signed contracts willingly, but some times its the artist themselves that bring their own downfall, no one else!”

Kemi wrote on IG;

“#WELLNESSKEMI For me it’s a personal opinion: How come so many showing their pregnant belly on this app always lose their baby and now her life? NICOLE IS DEAD!! Pregnant ladies I believe in this destruction juju. Stop exposing your personal pregnancy life on social media. Not everyone is happy for you. This young pregnant media personality lost her life and the baby. Her family wants privacy while most of you want to know what killed her.

This is where I come in but you now see why Investigative Journalism with no funding ends. I know how she died. It will come out later from them. “A month full of sadness, health gone and life ended” the opposite of her caption. Lord plssss watch over us. May she rest in peace”.
