Drama as man resists arrest by SARS operatives in front of Lagos court
A video of a man resisting being arrested by some operatives of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Lagos has gone viral.
The incident happened just opposite the Magistrate Court House in Igbosere, Lagos on Wednesday.
While engaged in the scuffle with the three policemen, who were in plainclothes, the man was said to have repeatedly asked them his offence.
He, however, did not get an answer from the operatives who eventually managed to handcuff him and whisk him away, leaving passersby, who witnessed the incident, confused over what the man did for him to be arrested in such manner.
This is coming after Nigeria Senate on Tuesday said, Police reform bill would be amended due to the incessant killing and harassment of citizens by the men of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
