Duo arrested for severing wrist of man who accused them of sleeping with his wife
The Osun State Police Command has arrested two men for allegedly attacking and hacking off the wrist of one Tunde Ajayi in Amuda Oba, Modakeke Area of the state.
It was gathered that Ajayi had accused one Kamoru Ajibola of his sleeping with his wife, simply identified as Kemi.
The accusation, it was gathered, led to a serious argument between the two but peacemakers intervened.
However, on Monday, around 4:00am, Ajibola and his friend, Ismaila Mohammed, stormed Ajayi’s residence and attacked him. During the fight, Mohammed was alleged to have severed the wrist of Ajayi from his arm with a cutlass.
The incident was reported at Modakeke B Division of Nigeria Police Force.
The spokesperson for Osun Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.
She said injured Ajayi had been taken to Obafemi Awolowo Teaching Hospital, Ile Ife, and was being treated of the wound he sustained in the attack.
