Easter break: Lecturer writes his students after they all missed class
A lecturer at the Lagos City Polytechnic identified as Mr Fashola has penned a memo to his students to inform them about his decision to mark all of them absent for missing his class today.
It was gathered that the lecturer who teaches ‘Organizational Behavious 2’ had resumed class as usual to teach his students who he had expected to be back in class after the Easter break, but to his surprise, none of the students was in class.
He then took to social media to share a selfie of himself in the empty class and captioned,
“Good morning all, Hope we all enjoyed our holiday and Easter break.
“The school resumes today and I am in your class for Organizational Behavious 2. There is nobody in class and that means we all missed today’s lecture and I have marked you all absent.”
The post has evoked reactions from Nigerians who found it hilarious and wondered how none of the students
One of those who responded to the post on Instagram @colourmethoughtful wrote,
“He looks funny. I wouldn’t miss a class of his because his facial expression will keep me going. They are just Lazy Nigerian Students.”
Another respondent @preshstagram wrote,
“At least he isn’t petty. My lecturer would have written test questions on the board immediately, and then say no one submitted.”
