Eight days after, Remi Surutu pays tribute to late daughter
The bond between a mother and her child(ren) cannot be easily severed, this has been proven by Remi Oshodi popularly called Mama surutu as she writes a very touching tribute to her late daughter eight days after she was buried.
Remi’s daughter was buried last Thursday at Ebony Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos; she died after battling with sickle cell disorder.
The grieving mother penned this down;
“Ayomikun!
“As every minute ticks and each day goes by, I am still glued to the moments shared with you. The times of joy and otherwise; those countless nights spent with you at the hospital; the temporary calmness I get whenever you are discharged; moments I had to rush home from movie production set whenever situation demands. The bond remains awesome.
“Indeed! When God says “its time”, no amount of money nor human care can stop God’s will.
It’s eight days today after you were laid to eternal rest, we all miss you…you know it. You were an angel. Even at death, you left marks for us to notice.
Though we still grief, we are yet to recover.
Keep resting, as I rest assured that the angels are glad to have an amazing addition.
We love you Ileriayo.”
Recall that Ayomikun death was announced by Yomi Fabiyi, an actor and a producer through his Instagram account.
