Embattled Nigerian lawmaker celebrates wife on Twitter
Former Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin has decided to leave the budget padding issue.
Jibrin’s decision follows a directive issued on the case by his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday.
The APC had in the letter warned Jibrin to refrain from making public statements on the alleged budget padding in the House of Representatives.
In response, a few moments after he got the letter, he twitted a picture of himself and his wife.
“Since I can’t post anything else, let me just celebrate my wife…,” he tweeted as caption to the photo.
