Most of us may not say amen to this prayer because garri is one of our meals. We take it not because we are poor but because it’s affordably delicious, easy to prepare and fast with little resources. #garrithelifesaver

Actually at times, I just want to drink Garri. I mean Garri with Milk, Sugar, Groundnut and Probably top it up with Akara. It’s not poverty mentality, that’s just my preference at that time. I have other options but I’m craving Garri at that time

I just got home few hours ago. Then I grab my coconut and cold water. Guess what I did with them? I reached for my garri and I drank it to my satisfaction. Then I login here and notice that garri is trending! Am happy to see my beloved garri trending.

Lol… Garri is just soft flakes we take in this part of the world.
Just because it is easily affordable, doesn’t make it poverty food.
Garri when socked, is meant to be eaten as a light food with other complementing foods of your choice.
