Ex-President Jonathan shares photos of his Sokoto trip to late Sultan Dasuki’s home (Photos)
Former President Goodluck Jonathan, who travelled to Sokoto State on November 17, to condole with the family of the late former Sultan Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki and the current Monarch has made public pictures of his reception in the state.
The former President who shared the pictures on his Twitter handle captioned it: I travelled to Sokoto to condole with the family of the late former Sultan Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki and the current monarch.
Jonathan while speaking at the home of the late Sultan said he remembered His Eminence, Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki, as a bridge builder and father figure who was ever committed to fostering unity in Nigeria
Jonathan attested that the former traditional ruler lived a long and purposeful life and will be greatly missed, and prayed the almighty grant him al Jannah Firdaus.
Jonathan thanked the Dasuki Family, the Sultan, the Government and the good people of Sokoto State for their warm welcome and wonderful hospitality towards him.
