Nigerian presidential aspirant sends exams shout out to OAU students, see why
Nigeria’s only female presidential candidate in the 2015 general election, Remi Sonaya has sent messages of goodwill to all Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife students in their forth coming examinations.
The 62-year-old Professor of French language, sent the exams shout out to students of her Alma mater via twitter on Thursday.
“Go for all A’s,” she encouraged in the tweet.

The politician graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), formerly University of Ife, where she studied French in 1977. She later obtained a Master of Arts degree in French Literature and a PhD from Cornell University in the United States.
She lectured in her Alma mater until she quited in 2010 to become active in politics.
In her 2015 presidential move, Remi Sonaya was popular mainly among the educated youths of the south-western parts of Nigeria. Unfortunately, she lost the seat to President Muhammadu Buhari, the current president.
