Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has lashed out at critics condemning him over his failed marriages, saying a lot of inventors and great men at some point in their lives have had setbacks.

He stated that his marriages may have crashed so that others can learn from his mistakes.

Adeniyi got married to actress Toyin Abraham in July 2013, but their marriage crashed two years after when the actress filed for divorce in August 2015 over alleged infidelity.

He took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to advise his followers sharing pictures of himself anchoring a ‘black-tie’ event for couples.

Adeniyi said those judging and condemning him over his two failed marriages should only judge him if their journey in life has been smooth or went as planned.

He wrote,

“He has a broken marriage, he couldn’t manage a home, 2nd marriage before 40th… yes, I concur but do you know God use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.. lots of inventors and great men of this world at some point in life had setbacks…

“What I went through might have happened so you can learn or be motivated…you are free to pass judgement if only all your journey has been smooth or went as planned…As ugly as a mango tree looks we all benefit and love the fruit…

“That’s me standing anchoring the black-tie event strictly for couples… I shared experiences and gained experiences.”

The actor is now in a relationship with actress Seyi Edun.
