Fans ask Manchester United to sign Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi
Manchester United fans have asked the club to target Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, as a possible replacement for Ander Herrera who is leaving the club at the end of the season.
This is according to a Manchester evening news poll of 6,315 United supporters.
Ndidi has been one of the most exciting youngsters in the Premier League season. The Foxes heavily rely on the 22-year-old midfielder as he has played in all the Premier League games this season.
On the other hand, Ander Herrera is set to leave for PSG and Marouane Fellaini’s departure in January, the Red Devils have a vacancy in midfield to fill this summer.
Moreover, Paul Pogba’s uncertain future in Manchester United and lack of Premier league experience among Fred, Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira makes the Nigerian midfielder a viable target for the Red Devils.
Ndidi who had a good season with Leicester City had 35 per cent of the votes compared to 26 per cent who voted for Monaco-owned midfielder Youri Tielemans; 21 per cent wanted West Ham’s Declan Rice and 18 percent.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Adrien Rabiot had the lowest poll.
Which of these central midfielders do you think United should sign this summer, and why? #mufc
