Fenerbahce want Iheanacho on two-year loan deal
Turkish giants, Fenerbahce, are set to launch a €12m two-year-loan bid for Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, reports from the country have claimed.
The 23-year-old Nigerian international has been the subject of rumours from the King Power Stadium after manager seemingly Brendan Rodgers okayed the club push for the signing of Celtic forward Ousmane Edouard.
And that has seen clubs from across the Premier League and continental Europe look to Iheanacho this summer.
Aston Villa are said to be amongst those clubs who have registered an interest and now Fenerbahce have joined the race.
According to reports, the Foxes will be asked to foot the bill for Iheanacho’s wages throughout his time with Erol Bulut’s side at the SuperLig.
Iheanacho joined the club from Manchester City for a fee of £25m back in 2017 and still has two years left on his current deal at the King Power Stadium. If the deal sails through, the forward would likely spend the remainder of his time as a Leicester City player in Istanbul.
Iheanacho, who frequently played as a substitute this season, has scored nine Premier League goals for the Foxes in 71 outings.
