FG shuts foreign missions in Sri Lanka, others
The Federal Government has closed four of its foreign missions abroad due to funding issues, it was learnt on Tuesday.
The missions, according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, are Sri-lanka, Serbia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
The outgoing minister, who is an advocate of Smart mission as a means of ensuring efficiency in the face of funding challenges, stated this while briefing newsmen on his stewardship.
