FG‘ll deploy soldiers on highways Osinbajo says as he visits Pa Fasoranti,
The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo this morning paid a condolence visit to the leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti in Akure, Ondo State, over the death of his daughter, Mrs. Funke Olakunrin, who was killed by some suspected Fulani herdsmen on Friday.
He said the Federal Government would explore all options, including deploying soldiers on the highways, towards addressing the growing cases of security challenges in Nigeria.
He said, “As you know, I am here to commiserate with the families of Olakunri and Pa Rebeun Fasoranti.
“This is a massive tragedy as you can imagine. We have seen it replicated here and there which is kidnapping death and killings.”
