A former Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Dr Joe Abah has described Otunba Segun Runsewe’s recent comment on Bobrisky as embarrassing.
The crossdresser was said to have sparked an uproar at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja over the weekend while trying to use the female toilet.
In reaction to the stir caused by Bobrisky’s action, Runsewe who is the Director-General of National Centre for Arts and Culture (NCAC), warned female travellers of the danger posed by sharing toilets with Bobrisky, saying he constituted a serious threat to women.
Runsewe had said:
“Bobrisky is a serious health hazard for Nigeria and Nigerians. The health hazard Bobrisky has is worse than Ebola Virus Disease”
Reacting to Runsewe’s comment on Bobrisky, Abah wrote on his verified Twitter handle:
This FGN obsession with Bobrisky is now officially embarrassing. Otunba Runsewe should conduct a survey on the issues Nigerians want his office to face, if he doesn’t know them. | FG warns travellers against Bobrisky – Punch Newspapers https://t.co/umzVK9TKQ2

A Twitter user who said she doesn’t like to agree with the government, however, said
“Bobrisky shouldn’t have used the women’s toilet.”
She tweeted via her verified handle @sugabelly:
“Bobrisky shouldn’t have used the women’s toilet. He’s a man. How he feels about himself cannot supersede the right Nigerian women have to privacy from being viewed by a man or being in the presence of a man in the bathroom or any other private space. Hate to agree with the gov
“The rights of one individual cannot come at the expense of other people especially women who are already extremely vulnerable in Nigeria. The government should stop persecuting Bobrisky but Nigerian women should never cede even an inch of any of their rights to mollycoddle a man.
“Rather than ask women to share their resources and spaces with men like Bobrisky, REAL PROGRESS is asking Nigerian men to stop discriminating against their fellow men for being different or not conforming to the prevailing idea of masculinity. Men will NEVER be women.”
Recall that Runsewe had declared war on Bobrisky over his lifestyle which he said is not in conformity with the Nigerian culture.
He had declared him an embarrassment to the nation and threatened to arrest him. Runsewe was also alleged to have ordered policemen to shut down the venue of the crossdresser’s birthday party in Lagos recently after Bobrisky dared him and said he rolls with his bosses.
Meanwhile, other Twitter users are also reacting to Runsewe’s comment on Bobrisky.
Another Twitter user wrote:
Wait so anything DG Arts and Culture says is from FG?? I beg they should ensure this DG and Bobrisky stop disgracing us like this with such useless news. pic.twitter.com/UcOBx3L1tb

Girl, six, kicked out of daycare for wearing a ‘Black Lives Matter’ t-shirt
For wearing a shirt that had “Black Lives Matter” written on it, a mother claims that her six-year-old daughter was kicked out of daycare.
Deval Brockman, from Russellville, Arkansas, said her 6-year-old daughter named Journei Brockman has been attending daycare at “His Kids Preschool” for six months.
However, she was told last Friday, June 26, she could not return.
Deval Brockman told FOX16 that her daughter’s school called her last Thursday, June 25 and an employee told her that she didn’t “like” or “agree”” with the shirt.
The employee also asked that Brockman not send her daughter to the school wearing it again.
Brockman said she reported the complaint to state officials and she was told that her daughter could wear the shirt unless it contained profanity.
“If I’m supporting something, I’m going to wear it, my child is going to wear it, to help say that our voice needs to be heard,” Brockman said.
Journei Brockman returned to the preschool last Friday, wearing a different shirt with an image of a raised fist printed on the back, which is the Black Lives Matter symbol.
When Deval Brockman picked her daughter up at the end of the day, she was told her daughter was no longer welcome at the school. An employee allegedly said that the shirt was encouraging racism.
“I got very upset. I’m just like are you serious? Over a T-shirt?” Brockman said.
She claimed that a school director also told her:
“I am not going to tell you how to raise your child, but you need to reevaluate how you’re parenting her.”
“It’s not political, it’s everyday life, it’s all over the news. Right is right and wrong is wrong,” Brockman said.
Patricia Brown, director of His Kids Preschool, said in a statement to FOX 16:
“We feel a childcare environment is not a place for a parent’s political views to be addressed or played out, regardless of race.”
African native doctors hold ceremony to unleash voodoo on George Floyd’s killers (Photos/Video)
Native doctors in Benin republic organised a ritual ceremony to get justice for George Floyd from the gods.
The ritual ceremony was held for George Floyd but the native doctors also called for justice for other black people killed unjustly in the United States, including Trayvon Martins, Michael Brown, Botham Jean, and Ahmaud Arbery.
During the ceremony in Dahomey, Benin Republic, a portrait of George Floyd was given pride of place on the altar. Chickens and a ram were killed and the blood was sprinkled around the altar.
Also, during the ritual, George Floyd’s name was mentioned multiple times. His killers were also mentioned as a ‘voodoo hex’ was released on them.

George Floyd: Trump mocks teargassed protesters, says it was a beautiful scene
President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has reacted to the US National Guard using tear gas to disperse Black Lives Matter protesters in Minnesota.
Trump described the use of teargas on protesters who took to the streets in response to the killing of George Floyd, a black American who died last month when a white Police officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck in Minneapolis, as a ‘beautiful scene.’
Speaking at an event in Dallas, Texas, the president shared his views on efforts made by the Minnesota National Guard to restore order.
“It was like a miracle. Just everything stopped. I’ll never forget the scene, it’s not supposed to be a beautiful scene but to me it was. After you watch policemen run out of a police precinct.
“And it wasn’t their fault, they wanted to do what they had to do but they weren’t allowed to do anything but they were running down the street, they weren’t allowed to do what they’re trained to do and they took over the precinct, they essentially burned it down.
“And yes there was some tear gas and probably some other things. And the crowd dispersed and they went through. ‘By the end of the evening… everything was fine and you didn’t hear about that location having problems anymore.”
