Finally, Antonio Conte repents, thrusts Fabregas into first XI against Man City; fans react
Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, may have repented from whatever made him dislike former Arsenal captain, Cesc Fabregas, and has thrust him into action again.
The former Barcelona midfield player had been frozen out of the team for about two months and has since been playing with the junior team of the club to keep fit, and had not even made i to Chelsea’s bench in recent months.
But in the team list released ahead of the club’s match against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge, Conte named Fabregas in the squad to decimate the former handler of the Blaugranas as a replacement for Nemanja Matic who picked up an ankle injury.
Chelsea fans have since expressed their feelings following the announcement of Fabregas in their first XI for the first time since the team’s loss to Arsenal.
Check out their reactions:

Fabregas with the most delightful of balls. Diego Costa does what Diego Costa does best. We’re level.

Fabregas can’t move his body in the way Conte demands… but he can move a ball like no-one else on that team.

Fabregas hasn’t done any tangible thing on the pitch. Not saying he has been bad, but we could play with 10 men and not miss him.

David Silva and De Bruyne against Fabregas worries me slightly. Hope he proves me wrong though. Party time if we get a draw.

There was a time I used to be happy about Fabregas being in the starting lineup.

Looks like Matic misses out with an injury, potentially a big blow. Fabregas needs a big game!

So Fabregas’s wife followed me last night, that’s it, he’s coming home, don’t care if it winds some of you up, I’d have him back!
