FRESH TERMS! Dele Alli signs new six-year Tottenham contract

Dele Alli has signed a new six-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur, which will run until 2024.

The 22-year-old midfielder has been in negotiations over fresh terms for some time and he has now followed the manager, Mauricio Pochettino, and a host of players in making a major commitment.

Dele Alli joined Spurs as a teenager from boyhood club MK Dons in 2015 and immediately set about making an impact in the Premier League, being named PFA Young Player of the Year and earning a spot in the PFA Team of the Year in each of his first two seasons with us.

Dele Alli has scored 48 goals in 153 competitive appearances for Tottenham. H

Dele Alli has also been one of the regulars in Gareth Southgate’s England team, making 31 caps since his debut in 2015.

Without having signed any player in the closed season, Spurs locked in a number of their first-team players in recent months by handing them long-term deals.

Pochettino also signed a new deal with Tottenham in May, extending his stay at the club until 2023.
