American rapper, William Leonard Roberts II better known as Rick Ross has been discharged after four days in the hospital.

According to TMZ, the rap mogul is now recuperating at home and was discharged in the wee hours of Monday morning.

Ross was hospitalised last week after he was found to be breathing heavy and unresponsive in his home.

There were also reports that the Maybach Music Group boss was on a life support machine.

His friend, Fat Trel, however, debunked the rumours and assured worried fans that Rick Ross was hospitalized from an undisclosed sickness but not on any life support.

Reports also say his sickness was heart-related and that he was in ICU for a time and put on ECMO.

“He had actually been in two hospitals, transferred from one to another due to his condition.”

Ross has a history of medical issues and according to TMZ suffered two seizures on two separate flights in October 2011.

After initially blaming lack of sleep Ross changed his lifestyle and diet, and slimmed down, dropping up to 100lbs.
