The police in Adamawa State have arrested a woman for allegedly pouring hot water on her stepson’s body, giving him third-degree burns.

WuzupNaija gathered that the woman had, last week in Numan area of the state, boiled some water and transferred same into a bowl.

She, thereafter, instructed the six-year-old boy to enter the bowl for a bath. However, the boy touched the water before entering and discovered that it was very hot.

The victim then took to his heels, but before he could make an escape, the lady emptied the bowl on him.

It was further gathered that during interrogation the suspect refused to reveal the motivation behind her action
