GRASS TO GRACE! Lady who hawked sachet water on Lagos streets, buys house in Canada

A Nigerian lady has shared the story of how she became a landlady in Canada after her humble beginnings in Nigeria.

The story can be titled ‘From Grass to Grace’ because the lady, Princess Tholu E Fholarin, narrated how she was ridiculed by friends at various stages of her life.

The “Senior Financial Service Representative at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce”, according to her Facebook profile, said she came to Canada in 2005 after the death of her father in Nigeria.

She said she hawked sachet water on the streets of Lagos adding that she was grateful to God that her sufferings and struggles are finally over.

She went on to encourage people going through a similar experience and encouraged them to persevere.

“I just want to use this medium to say Trust and Obey God. God has a plan for everyone, just take a second to listen and ask for his right direction, when you think the door is shut, please push harder because sometimes hard work and commitment will get you what you want, she wrote.

“On March 5, 2018. I became a first-time homebuyer in Canada. I Esther own a home in Canada, YH I AM SURE YOU SAID Woooooow………

“I looked back from how it all started when my dad died in 1997 when we thought all hope was lost. I remembered having to hawk sachet water on the street of Lagos.

“I came to Canada in 2015 as a student having to work part-time and study. I would come to class and sleep and my colleagues will wake me up and laugh. But the days of suffering is over.

!I am grateful to God for making my life a testimony.

I am not going to preach, I just want to use this medium to say Trust and Obey God. God has a plan for everyone, just take a second to listen and ask for his right direction, when you think the door is shut, please push harder because sometimes hard work and commitment will get you what you want.

“I am proud of the woman I have become through Christ, I am happy that I feel accomplished before clocking 30 years.
