Group cries foul over move to cover up rape of 5-year-old girl
A human rights group, Due Process Advocates (DPA) has raised the alarm over plans by a kindergarten owner and a father to cover up the alleged rape of a 5-year-old girl.
The little girl was allegedly raped in a kindergarten in Awka, Anambra State.
According to DPA lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye, the owners of the school where the rape occurred are trying to bury the case by settling the family of the victim with money.
“DPA has just stopped an attempt to bury the case of the rape of a 5-year old girl in kindergarten in Awka, Anambra State,” the lawyer posted releasing photos of the father receiving money from the kindergarten owner before signing an agreement to keep quiet on the matter.
