A shooting reportedly occurred on Tuesday at Great Mills High School in the eastern US state of Maryland.

AFP reports that the school which is located at about 90-minute drive southeast of the US capital Washington, has been contained.

Though there are no official reports of casualties in the shooting, St. Mary’s County Public Schools on its website announced that the school is on lock down. It also said the incident had been “contained.”
