Gunmen hijack 18 seater bus along Akure-Ikere road, abduct 10 passengers
Some unknown gunmen have reportedly laid ambush for an 18 seater passenger bus along the Akure/Ikere road and abducted ten travellers including the driver of the bus.
TVC reported that the bus was travelling from Akure to Ado-Ekiti through the Akure/Ikere-Ekiti road before it was ambushed at one of the bad spots on the route.
The deplorable condition of the road, according to eyewitnesses aided the abduction.
The incident is coming less than a week after the Nigerian Army launched an Anti Kidnapping drones to monitor both Ondo and Ekiti States.
Some of the occupants of the vehicle were said to have been taken away to unknown destination through the bush.
