Happening now! Yorubas and Eegun in a violent clash at Ajah (Photos)
Reports just reaching us from Ajah area of Lagos State indicate that Yorubas and Eegun people are currently involved in a violent clash.
This was made known few minutes ago in a post shared on the Twitter handle of the Rapid Response Squad @rrslagos767.
Reports indicate that officials of the Rapid Response Squad have been deployed to the troubled area to maintain law and order. RRS and other police divisions are currently helping to quell the ethnic violence in the area.
Meanwhile, RRS officials amidst the pandemonium that accompanied the ethnic clash in Ajah also rescued a newly born baby that was abandoned by the parents while fleeing from their touched house.
The security operatives have also succeeded in arresting some miscreants that were burning shanties and other structures during the crisis.
RRS officials are still at the scene of the ethnic clash maintaining it’s presence to further forestall any violence.
